1. Who we are

2. What this site is

An informational site. It presents the available models, prices, opening hours and the pickup point.

You cannot complete a rental through the site: bookings happen over WhatsApp or in person at the shop. Prices, hours and availability may change without notice — what applies is whatever is in force at pickup.

3. Use of content

The brand, text, photos and video belong to HappyMobi or are licensed to it. Reproduction requires written permission.

Do not use the site for unlawful purposes or attempt to interfere with how it works.

4. Who can rent

• Official photo ID, presented at pickup. No driving licence is required: the scooter is classified under Brazilian law as self-propelled personal mobility equipment.
• From age 16. Between 16 and 18, the ride happens with a responsible adult, who co-signs the agreement.
• HappyMobi may refuse a rental to anyone who does not appear fit to ride safely.

5. How you ride

• Helmet required, provided at pickup.
• Speed limited to 20 km/h.
• Follow the route indicated by HappyMobi along the Meia Praia beachfront area.
• Riding in water, on sand, on the beach, in mud or in hazardous places is prohibited. Doing so incurs a R$ 300.00 penalty on top of full compensation for any damage.

6. Responsibility for the scooter

For the duration of the rental, the renter assumes the risks of possession, use and safekeeping of the scooter, and is liable for damage, breakage, theft, robbery or loss.

In the event of an accident, theft or robbery, the renter is liable for the full value of the equipment.

7. Deposit and insurance

A rental can be taken with or without a security deposit, and insurance of R$ 1,000.00 is optional. Anyone declining it assumes the risks in full.

Your choice is recorded in the agreement signed at pickup.

8. Damage and repairs

Damage is charged according to the Repair Schedule handed over with the agreement. The calculation is the cost of the part plus labour time at R$ 200.00 per hour.

Amounts fall due when the scooter is returned.

9. Late return

Returning outside the agreed time incurs an additional charge proportional to the time exceeded.

10. Payment and default

Amounts owed are paid on return.

If they are not paid, a 10% penalty, 1% monthly interest, monetary adjustment and legal fees apply under the signed agreement. The agreement also provides for listing the name with Brazilian credit bureaus, subject to the statutory prior-notice requirements.

11. Electronic signature

The rental agreement may be signed electronically. The parties acknowledge the legal validity of that form of signature.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date at the top.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

Brazilian law applies. The rental agreement designates the courts of Itapema/SC, without prejudice to a consumer's right to sue in the courts of their own domicile.

14. Languages

This document is published in Portuguese, Spanish and English. In the event of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
